A textbook company (Holt, Rinehart and Winston) has caved to pressure from the Texas schoolboard to alter the language in a high school science textbook to make it more amenable to “Intelligent Design Theory,” an untestable pseudo-science that presents itself as an alternative to evolution.

Everybody with a pulse understands that IDT is a Trojan horse to get Christianity back into schools. After all, why would you care that the universe is made if you didn’t have some pretty particular ideas about who made it?
