Perhaps it’s true for everybody, but I can’t help thinking it’s particularly acute in my case: for me, looking for a job is a supremely depressing endeavor. I can’t say I particularly like working, and I’ve found that unemployment doesn’t suit me all that well either, but I really, really hate actively looking for work.
