A post-bath mohawk. I’m pretty sure this is the cutest picture ever taken in the universe.
In a towel, in the mirror, after a bath.
On the left: mid-sneeze. On the right: happy about it.
The boy always wakes up in a great mood (he must have gotten that from Mom), which is captured wonderfully in this shot. Nothing brightens a morning like a groggy, grinning baby.
Grip, the Feral Baby, raised by wolves, viciously attacks his Auntie Emily’s face. Thank god he doesn’t have teeth!
(You need Quicktime to watch this. The video will take a while to load, so be patient. And turn your sound up.)
They took turns holding him. Feral Baby tried to eat Ben’s nose. If you think that’s bad, watch what he does to Emily on this next one!
Unkie Ben and Auntie Emily finally made it to town to meet the Gripinator. Not suprisingly, they fell in love. He really won them over with his ability to balance stuff on his head.
Grip went to the doctor for his five month checkup, where they told us, basically, that he’s huge — about the size of an average 10 month old. They also gave him a bunch of shots. He cried for about 30 seconds and went to sleep.
A big milestone! Grip rolled over for the very first time about a week ago, and he was nice enough to wait until both his parents could be there to see it. Since then it’s become No Thing — he does it with ease. Mom captured this priceless photo series on about his third day of rollling. Doesn’t he look smug and satisfied at the end? Now we’re all waiting for a front-to-back. He needs to do it soon or he’s _never_ going to get into Harvard!
